How about this for a strategy. Book an appointment with their rep as whatever they are selling is "just what I need". Confirm the appointment when they phone to check the day before or the day of the appointment. When the rep arrives make sure you have a friend there, and tell the rep that while they keep annoying you with calls then you will keep annoying them with wasted appointments.

Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. Called today saying I had been flagged by the national accident database following a minor bump in Dunfermline. I haven't been in any kind of car accident or claim for a long number of years. They then tried to claim it was somebody else at the same address (but I live alone), and then maybe somebody had put me down as a reference (which they haven't).
