Went dead as soon as I answered but this sounds like the same thing as reported on the media with Indian (or Indian subcontinent) scammers pretending to be from spoofing the number of an innocent guy in Wigan who has nothing to do with it.

I didn t answer the call as very suspicious but rang them back to get info. Say they re claims specialists and got my details from Motor Insurance Bureau. I haven t had an accident and they had my name wrong. Very foreign accents. I suspect a scam. have blocked the number.

had daily calls from this number for last 4 days. Just silent when answered. When numbered called back message says "number not recognised".

Called me, picked it up right away, waited for a hi/hello for a second and they hanged up. Probably a scam/spam call.

Usual Indian accented person calling me from Talktalk to save my computer from a major disaster. I received a call for this number that is saying that im involved in a fraud. they only inform me what fraud I was involved with if they I will tell them my full name and address. I refused to give my details and they said if I refuse they will send a police to arrest me.

Missed calls from this number over past few days. Never leave a message.

Called me at teatime and immediately hung up when I answered.
