From my own experience in claims management I knew that this wasn't right so I questioned it further to which I was told it was there own National database. When I asked for there regulators contact details they put the phone down.... think i'll be taking this one further :)

SCAM Indian chap called ‘Steve’, said he was from Virgin media and wanted to fix the fault on my internet connection. Told him I didn’t have a fault as I was connected and working on it whilst he was speaking. He put the phone down. This is the 4th call I’ve had today from this 02084 number. Very annoying as I’m with Virgin and my landline is supposed to be ex directory; I can’t even block it ????. Yet another reason for leaving them!
