Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

Zach called, claiming to be contacting me on behalf of the AA regarding an accident I was involved in, in the last 24 months. Complete fabrication, and the number now blocked
SCAM This number called my 86 year old mother today, getting her so traumatised she was shouting & crying which is when I took the phone. The person was insisting Mum has a 3 year fridge/freezer insurance, that she pays yearly & needs to pay final year. My mum doesn’t own a fridge/freezer. In the end I told her to put it in writing & send to me. I’ve got to check mum’ bank in case they’ve ever taken money. There will be legal proceedings.
This is a scam number from India (pretending to be in Northern Ireland) saying they are BT Openreach and I have a virus on my PC. Just put the phone down BT does not call customers unless you have already raised a fault and all their call centres are in the UK.
Mobile number saying they are from Hermes claiming to have a parcel for us, we have not ordered anything and are not waiting for anything to be delivered, this definitely a scam.

Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. On a more or less regular basis I receive calls from all over the UK whilst I live on the continent I suggest never to get connected as people might be able to use your tel nr to make international calls. I have blocked this number.

Fischer Future Heat in Leicester. Returning a call I made about their electric heating. I would call that friendly.
You will only be called by this number if you have a Captial One credit card. It is there collections department. People rating this 9 are bad debtors and leaving poisoned reviews. I m rating 3 as even though they are a legitimilate caller, the volume of their calls can be tedious. To stop calls from this number, pay your bill on time.

Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.
Hung up as soon as I answered, probably a sales call.
Told me my appliance cover was expiring shortly. When I said I wanted to make a claim he changed his mind and said it had expired. SCAM obviously, but who issues these phone numbers knowing they are used to defraud - somewhere a legit company has to be issuing these. They are no better.
As mentioned Vanquis Bank use numbers from all over the UK to trick peoople into answering
