Keeps calling the house every few months. Keep ignoring them now, but very,very annoying. I have a trick that I am willing to try out in order to stop these calls, will let you know how it goes.

Telemarketing company selling Life insurance. I was ignored when i advised i was at work. I was ignored when I said I didn t want the product. I was ignored when i requested to be taken off their call list. I was ignored when i said a had multiple health issues so cover would be worthless. SERIOUSLY even admitted it may be useless, then get off my phone .....

caller didnt announce himself, just asked me to confirm personal details but when i asked, he claimed to be from "the nationwide". He had my name, phone number and postcode. He wanted me to confirm my age but as soon as i asked him further questions he hung up and ended the call. This was obviously not a legitimate call from the nationwide building society.

Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

This company calls me persistently, today I have had 3 calls, even though their number is blocked on my mobile and their calls are instantly disconnected. This leads me to believe they are using some automated calling app. I don t believe they are based in UK but are using UK numbers to give that impression.

This number is Smith s Windows, I had a quote from them years ago,they continue to call even though I ve asked them not to. They were rude overpriced and extremely pushy!! Avoid this company at all costs.

There new one is that Nexbridge have brought numbers in my local area 01788 241684, no message left, crappy music and no answer on calling back, I am very angry as my daughter is ill and so I might get a call from a local number. This company?s number shows up on caller ID but when you call back it says number not recognised. When I did answer to them they said they were checking that we were not getting any nuisance calls, I said we were not until they called and then they hung up.
