Silence. Said "hello" a couple of times. After ~10 seconds a recorded woman's voice said "goodbye" and the call terminated.

Been having these people call non stop twice a day! I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! I have told these people to stop calling me and that they have the wrong number. Don t worry a lawsuit will soon be in place for harassment since I have recordings of all communications.

Get calls every day from this number on my house phone normally while I m out at work so can t answer but on the times I have been home to answer (normally 8.30am on weekends!) they ask for some random person although I ve told atleast 10 different people they have the wrong number they still phone despite saying they will take the number off the system. Supposed to be pc maintenance or windows tech support. Called from this number and also 004258967. 2 calls a day for 2 days so far. Indian sounding accents, very insistent and persistent . They said their number was 08000188351. Said they were calling with regards problems slowing down my oc on internet. I have reported to action fraud and suggest others do the same.

This number called several times but left no message. As it was a local number I called back. It went straight to a recorded message & said I had been called by the NHS & would call back within 24 hrs. This is not an NHS number! My family are not under any hospitals or GPs for anything at this moment or indeed in several years. Other sites have this number reported as being untrustworthy.

If you do answer the nuisance calls and it’s NOT an automated message, be polite to the agent, talk to him/her. Remember they are on commission, so waste their time. State you are interested in their SCAM products. Give them false info. If you can arrange a rep to visit, do it at a local café and don’t turn up. I think you get the idea. This is probably where lying would be acceptable even if it’s not in your nature.
