I didnt answer because I was in bed and it was 9.30am saturday morning. Unrecognised number from a mobile phone. Rude awakening! If its important they will leave a message. I had call from this number today 07791 402649 Left a voicemail and you could hear loads of noise in the background then after a few seconds I’m assuming the person were Indian?? But whatever she said seemed like gobbledygook cotodnt make out one word of it. Anyway I’ve blocked the number.

SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.

The number rang me but when answered did not respond at all and went quiet , suspicious.
Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.
