Do not trust this number! Clearly a scam to get personal details! Called asking if I have been involved in a car accident! Do not tell them anything!

Calls are reputedly from Verizon Global in Reading trying to solicit insurance claim-related business. Just rang off after a few seconds!

I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and if they send letters, ignore them but keep a record of them so that when they do get caught (a matter of time) you can contribute evidence if required. I am really fed up with these type of constant calls, I am ex-directory and with the Telephone Preference Service I have complained about this number to Ofcom and will keep doing this every time I get these unwanted calls. It s about time the government did something about this constant harassment.

So many calls from this number. The first one I answered and she claimed she was from the TPS so I listened to what she had to say. As soon as she mentioned 'visa card'...

Caller asked if I was with British Gas or Scottish Power, when I declined to answer he swore at me and hung up!

I received a call approx 7 pm, and the man on the phones accent was very hard to understand, however i did try as he stated he needed 3 seconds of my time, NO LONGER, then proceeded to ask me a whole lot of questions i felt absolutely led to nowhere, like, the brand of my tv, my current relationship status, did i work, was i insured, who my power provider was my phone provider which contract phone i was with, but always said, after me asking "can you say that again please" he then said i has a chance of 4 l

Call made from Liverpool but caller had a foreign accent, she tried to make me change my phone provider saying she could find a cheaper provider. elsewhere. She was very persistent even after telling her I had just signed up with another provider and was under contract. Said her name was Angela Mayer.

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!
