SCAM claimed to be insurance on domestic appliances up for renewal - quoted my name, address and phone number (all as per phone directory) at me,then asked for my date of birth for verification - I asked him to tell me my date of birth so that I could verify it and (surprise, surprise) the line went dead.
SCAM trying to sell washing machine cover, didn't know any details about my washer etc and didn't take any, but yet wanted my bank details for direct debit. I've also had my washer for some time not just two years. The call wasn't right, he was friendly but pushy

Fraud Pre recorded message posing as Credit Card company stating your card has been used twice this morning, one transaction supposedly for Amazon the 2nd I couldn’t quite understand but for large sums of money. Asks you to press 1 on your phone to authorise these transactions. Just put the phone down. I’m getting fed up with these people who think they can con other people out of their hard earned money.
The call was from someone claiming to be from visa saying somebody was trying to draw £900.from my account.

Fraud - someone claiming to be from O2 and offering a 30-40% discount on tariff
SCAM - Do not, I mean do not deal with these people. They are scam artists. I just had a call from them pretending to be O2 and I also received a code to access the website that they were obviously going to ask me for. Never ever give out this code. I do work for VM O2 and we never ask for codes from people.

This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.
Caller said she is calling about repairs that had just been done at my property,I asked what property I have several she then ended call, they have called several times.
Scam calls, usually related to Crypto. These people have been harassing me for over a year due to the previous owner of my phone number having filled out an inquiry on their website. SCAM Got 2 calls today, first one at 8am with a man with a indian accent who wasn't sure what name to call the caller and second one a woman more confident but as soon as I said that I was going to report her number at Action Fraud she started to panic. I made her believe that she was recorded and she change her tone of voice to terminate the call asap. Seems that they only hire Indian people behind this number.
