Pretending to be lawyers who say I have a case of tax fraud against me. This was a very entertaining phone call as the man on the other line who went under the name of "Michael Jordan", not the basketball player, told me I must give him money or else I would be arrested in 30 minutes!! Thank you Mr. Jordan for giving me and my flatmate 40 minutes of laughs this morning.

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. Fraud - female tries to get people to invest financially in them. The scammer uses fake photos / videos to entice the victim to hand over their personal details. There is no viable proof they are real and are very clever at manipulation. Their target are men who are lonely and or vulnerable to such scams.

01782255761 is a scam caller supposedly from BT Internet, Indian accent and wanted to download software onto my PC.
Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
