SCAM Advised trying to sell life insurance, got my information from Marketing Department, advised they knew my name but did not address me with my name and when I asked what other personal information they had for me, and where they had got it from, they hung up. The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

Telling me I have had two withdrawals from my bank - one being from Amazon for £300 and the other for a couple of thousand from abroad. I had a phone call from (supposedly local) yesterday also saying this! Ignored it.

This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.

When called back number doesn't exist
Called claiming to be from Visa and with 2 transactions on my account. "Press 1 to connect to our agent". Logged in to my account on a PC and no such transactions. Probably a scam

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

an asian who spoke so fast that to start with it was impossible to understand and when asked to repeat it but slowly she said she was phoning to alert me that i had to pay another charge on my order. she said if i could give her my bank details amazon will debit it from my account. i have not brought any thing from amazon and i dont have an account with amazon never have and never will . beware of this number because these people are thieves and are not from amazon.
