Got a call from this number said they were from Talk Talk........I realised it was a scam so when I said that I didn't actually have a pc or laptop and that it was at work she told me to go to hell !!

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.
