SCAM Foreign caller claiming that I have a bitcoin account that I didn’t know about. I have already heard of this scam and ended the call. I think the aim would be to obtain legitimate personal banking details from targeted individuals.

SPAM My phone showed me that is a spam suspicious call, so I didn't answer it. Blocked it right away!

This was a recording saying that £800 had been taken from my credit card by an American Gambling Company. At this point I hung up as I don’t have a visa credit card. THIS IS A SCAM?

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Said that she understood, I had lost money in an investment and would I like to get it back, I asked how she got my name and phone number and she immediately hung up. This is obviously a scam,

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). Ive been called every two months for the last 8 years asking for a miss Elizabeth Langford and Ive told them every single time Ive never known anyone of that name and please remove my number from your system This time round I lost it and told the Scottish sounding woman she was dead when the caller apologised I then told her to F off and dont ever ring me again Im sure it wont stop unless I change my phone number Id love to find out who this person is

Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up
