Noisy call centre background, man with very strong Indian accent said 'This is Sky <mumble> Maintenance ...' at which point I said 'No thank you' and cut him off and added his number to our blocked list.
Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)

Claimed to be calling from o2 offering 40% discount. I was sent a text message with a code and asked for the code. (suspicious) I was then asked for the answer to my security question. (dead giveaway)

My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

Not sure what this was about. I answered and it went silent then someone said hello, knew my email address. Something about a transfer payment being stuck and verifying my data in regards to ID fraud. I had an echo on the line, couldn't hear properly. Caller had strong accent, possibly French. I advised him that I wished for all of the data he held about me to be erased as per GDPR and DPA's right to erasure, he seemed surprised an I told him this was because it was all false
