I rang British Gas to arrange a service and asked them not to pass my number on to anyone else. Got a call asking for feedback 30 minutes later. Did not answer and blocked the number. Think I will have to get service from elsewhere if they ignore what I ask in future.

I received a call from this company about 12 weeks ago. i couldn t remember who my old agreements where with as I hadn t kept any paperwork over the years which didn t matter to them as they managed to find all my account numbers and to date I ve had 4 successful claims totaling over 8 thousand pound. Just received a call from this number about online trading. When asked how they got my number, she said online banner ! Strange - I asked her to remove my details - she said that I would need to speak to someone in the company and would not give me the name of the company. Then hung up on me.
