This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.
Claimed to be alerting to me to my NI number being compromised. I got suspicious and hung up.

The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

Left a message on my answer phone which was difficult to understand but appeared to be about an address for parcel delivery. They never said who they were or asked if I was the person they were trying to contact and further investigation showed that calls to this number cost 16p a minute from a landline plus a setup fee of 23p.

Picked up the call and got a pre-recorded message from an American sounding female voice informing me that I had placed an order with AMAZON for gift cards to the value of £700. If I wished to question or check it to dial 1 or 2. This is clearly a SCAM after my banking details as I have not purchased anything from Amazon. I therefore class this call to my landline as DANGEROUS
