This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). Asian male claims to be Joe from Sky insisting on selling me Sky Breakdown cover. Up to 5 calls a day. 1471 results in poorly worded computer generated message re tv repair. He was very upset when I asked him to stop talking and to listen to me. He continued in very, very broken English to talk. I told him never to call again and to remove my number from his list. Scammer asking for banking information and suggesting irregular activity on bank account.
This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
