Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.

Said it was my bank and that western union transfer had been taken from my account of £600 and that they were my bank press1 to talk to them to discuss the matter. Then asked if I was a homeowner. I said he would know that if he was who he said he was and what company is he calling from - he immediately hung up!!!

The Window People they just ignore the telephone preference register. I've requested number removal only to be called thee times again this week. Very annoying.
If this really is HSBC s fraud dept they are staggeringly incompetent and l am by no means convinced that it is. Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check . May be genuine, but they asked me to repeat the same information re my account so many times that l was suspicious, and would urge caution
