Claims to be in reference to an accident that I had within the last three years. I told him that I hadn't had one and he asked if perhaps I'd had one as a passenger. When I told him again that I hadn't had any accidents and that I thought it was a scam call, he hung up.

Claimed to be from Currys PC World and was trying to sell me an iPhone.
This number called Saturday 4th March early to say they were calling on behalf of amazon they were trying to stop our amazon account being hacked and our credit cards charged. Short story they are scammers trying to release you of your funds. They then continue with mobile phone numbers after this point. Be extremely careful when answering this number.

It's apparantly a mobile phone company, was incredibly confused when I called them and asked why they were calling me
I have no idea how you made this a number from Russia, no idea what or who it is, just rings and hangs up, so blocked. DON'T EVER ring back, if they don't speak it's of no use to you, and is one of the ways to rip you off, because it registers as a live number and they docan sell your number onto other scam lists; and the number can get diverted to a premium number that will cost you serious money, search it before anything else, and report when it's bad.

I asked where my data came from he said "UKRI" (United Kingdom Insurance Limited) about whom he gave a lengthy description. Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.
I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. I keep receiving messages in quick succession on my landline answer machine (8 this morning so far). They are clear until the company name is stated, when it becomes muffled. Having looked at the reviews, the calls seem to come from Talk Talk (can hear it is a busy call centre in the background), but I am with BT and have never had any dealings with Talk Talk!
