I have no idea who could be from this number as I have had two calls from somewhere in France last week as well and I don't know anyone there either as I'm an OAP I can only assume that this is some kind of scam .I find it very worrying and am worried how they came across my number

Called claiming to be calling about my phone contract, told them that I wasn't on a contract (I am) then they were like oh yes, we are offering you contract for £9 a month for unlimited everything okii?! Barely spoke English and spoke very quickly, kept going silent. I said no and hung up.

SCAM I was called by this number and hung up, they phoned back so i pretended to be 10yrs old. He started telling me he liked my voice it sounded like honey, asked if i would marry him in 5 year time, told me that he would ring me later for his friend, asked to meet me tomorrow night and asked me to tell my address. He then started asking if I liked Pakistani boys and i said do you like 10 year old girls and he said yes.. Dirty! do not answer.

Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.

WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. Insurance Called from Direct Insurance about my kitchen appliances claiming that as I hadn't made a claim in over a year they could offer me a substantial discount on my renewal fee. The thing is, although I haven't claimed I am NOT insured with this company. I've now had three or four calls and each time I've asked them politely to remove my details from their database but they still keep calling! I told them today I would report them to you.
