97 SCAM - Sent me a text saying my paypal account had been temporarily limited and that I had 24h to confirm account information by clicking a (suspicious) link in the message. Of course I logged in to my account and everything was fine.

Although I have bought from Amazon, I do NOT have an Amazon Prime account. 2. This number, on the EE network, cost up to 13p a minute (plus set up fee) from a landline and up to 55p from a mobile. This may be a scam call or just a money-making racket; generating income from lengthy return calls. Do not answer this call and block it!

This represents a new tactic in scumbag cold call companies operation. They employ “home workers” and install call routing equipment into their operators houses. That way the caller ID is of the home worker and much more difficult for blocking software to identify. This call was from a company claiming that my wife was involved in a no fault accident two years ago and was entitled to compensation. My wife has been dead for 8 years. They got told to F off.
