He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. 19/01/23 at 15:42 Got 5 text messages on my mobile,introduced themselves as my eldest child,said that she had a little accident,that shes texting me from her friend's mobile (00447709082775), gave me this number 00447700161284 to text back to confirm.It said that she dropped her phone,that she is bit stressed out.asked me if i can help her with something and make payment for her.When I asked to proof its my daughter,no more texts received.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

Keep getting calls from numbers which start with 01273901924 upto 1937, these are scam calls and they change the last two numbers all the time but its the same scammers and i just let the phone ring as i have a long list of scam calls and i can only block 50 on my phone.
