Elite legal consultants allegedly! Called about a traffic accident someone in my household apparently had not to long ago!

This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!

Nuisance call, can t call number back.

Called landline today 10/07/2020 12:55pm, no message left. Double 00 at the start is a dead giveaway of a fake number.

A Scam about Amazon Prime stating your account is going to be debited for 39 pounds. Hang Up. Second one in 2 hours, first from a mobile, second from a landline. Both blocked.

Number called but silent at the other end. Number is from Knutsford near Manchester according to reverse look up.

the most annoying thing ever. For the past 5 days, they keep calling. I told them I am not interested, yet, they keep calling, so annoying.

Rang me three times this week asking for Mr Woodward. Told them wrong number the first time. The third time she started saying well this call may be of interest to you. I told them no it isn t. At no point did they introduce themselves.

They call pretending they know you ve been in an accident to trick people who have actually been in accidents to divulge the details. When you tell them you haven t been in an accident they hang up immediately. Don t be fooled by these people.

"Mark from Windows Support" called me to tell me that my computer had been attacked by a virus. I was pretty sure at that point, because most of the time it is up to you to call the company if you have a problem with your computer and not the other way around. Anyhow, I figured I play along to see where this is going and they told me to click Start - run - cmd and then to type in a code that would give them access to my computer. Answered this number. Had to say hello three times before someone who named herself as Lisa said she had a record of me being in a car accident. I said no you have incorrect info. She went quiet for a few seconds then proceeded to say how did the accident happen and I said no you do not have the right information and in the middle of me saying please take my number off your system she just hung up. Tried calling back to complain but surprise surprise the number is not recognised.

When I asked where they were calling from she just got cross and told me my laptop wouldn t work if I didn t switch it on now!
