SCAM - Fake call pretending to be BT technical department about our internet. Phishing, hung up when I questioned them calling and that it was a fake call.

SCAM ! Online investment that asks for yout account and visa number. Avoid them like the pest

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. Indian accented male calling himself "Antony Green" , burst into a speil about protecting my home appliances, saying that he could save me 10 quid "only for this month" to protect my appliances for 2 years. He then wanted my home address details - I told him, he should know all this "I have to check the details are right" Then you tell me what details you have and I will tell you if they are right" He read out an address that is absolutely wrong, and given my dialing code,

Tried to convince me of life insurance. The fact the number comes up as potential spam on the modern phone should be encouragement enough to upgrade just for this fact. Block it.

01387404015 Missed call but notice from reviews that is yet another Accident Assist Scam. Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. I haven't had any kind of Accident but they just don't leave me alone, no matter how many times I tell them to take my number off they're list.

SCAM 01209707750 Redruth, Cornwall. A posh sounding young man phoned, from telpro marketing medical services. My partner was actually waiting for somebody to get back about a prescription ordered, so nearly got caught out. I really worry about the elderly and vulnerable.
