This number should be a landline from Manchester - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet, but similar numbers of the same range 1618148xxx are always marked as call centre - telemarketing, accident claims or surveys (market research). Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers) - can be something different and legitimate, but srry I'm always suspicious considering numbers for shared rate. I recommend to block the whole 0845286xxxx range... Did someone answer this number?

A woman with a foreign accent knew my name. She identified she was calling from ‘Advantage’. I told her I was working and she said she would be really quick but had a few questions about households. I repeated that I was working and hung up. Advantage deal with Pets. We don’t have any pets, nor have we ever had any pets, so whoever passed them my details did not do their research.

Fraud They call to advise that an arrest warrant has been issued in "Your" name for tax evasion, and invite you to press "1" for further info. A person with a strong Indian accent answers and in short they invite you to settle out of court. I suspect that the caller is not UK based but is using some relay of sorts to make calls appear to be UK based. Once you have them on the line, it is up to you whether to simply insult them or string them along for as long
