Text message saying my bank account was suspended and to call this number. Erm, nope! Scammers!
I had a legitimate phone call from this number from the 5 rivers leisure centre in Salisbury Wiltshire.
CROYDON
Called claiming that I was involved in a car accident. Hung up as soon as I asked where he got this incorrect information from. . Rung every day for the past few days at the same time.
Goes dead when you answer and goes straight to a machine when you call back. I only answered cus it was a local area code not the usual unknown or witheld number. Arghhh. Annoying!

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. A voice mail message is left saying they are from HMRC and have a lawsuit on me and to ring them back on a specific number to discuss my case. I rang HMRC directly and they said its a scam to get money.
Asian sounding male called Brian(?). Said I was paying £7 per month for breakdown maintenance(?) for my TV and they could reduce it to £5. I said - no I'm not. He hung up. Probably trying to get me to sign up for something so avoid falling for this scam
