This Liverpool number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with insurance marketing (accident chasers), but I have found no info about company behind it, did someone answer it (without immediate hunging :) ) and spoke with some real person?

PetPlan. I had the 4 weeks free insurance when I got my pug puppy from the breeder. The funny thing is, if they had not been phoning me multiple times a day, I was actually going to sign up for their premium package a few days before the 4 weeks free insurance had ran out. Purely because of them contacting me multiple times a day, I will just let my 4 weeks free expire and get insurance with someone else. Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated
