SPAM - Claimed to be from a trading company and said that I had registered interest online (which I haven't). Hung up on me when I asked for him to spell out the name of the trading company. Seemed suspicious.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Some moron saying he got my number "from Google" and offering something to do with investment advice. The highlight was when he said he was offended that I called him out and that I was a "c**ksucker". Don't answer.
I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.
