I rejected first time round but they called again and I accepted a call just for fun. As expected, they're calling about their "promotion". I said "no thanks" and hanged up. Flagged number as spam on my phone.
Scam Got a call twice and saying I have a tax refund
Stated they were from tge local housing association and they were running a project to bring all tenners properties up to spec. He wanted to get someone there to conduct repairs. I own my property which came as a surprise to him. I wonder who would have turned up at my door if I had fallen for this ruse. Be Warned....SCAM

He apologised & hung up. Very amiable, & I was polite too :) Only use my landline for emergencies so any call to it arouses my suspicions!

Wanted to talk about domains but couldn't tell me which.
They are scammers pretending to be Virgin media. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.

Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

As soon as I dial this number a voice comes on to say that this number cannot be connected followed by another voice that says that calls are not being answered by this number - please try later. SCAM they purported to be from Three network and said that as a valued customer I could receive s reduction on my monthly payment. I gave them my name, dob and address as they requested it to confirm their details. I became suspicious when they asked for my bank sort code and account no so they could amend the direct debit. I refused to give this and they hung up. I have contacted Three and no one has phoned me, they don't phone customers
