Caller claimed to be from Severn Trent Water telling me that I haven t paid my bill in the last six months - checked the bill and found out that this company charges on a 8 month Direct Debit format. Interesting scam - have informed the company about the call!

People I talked to from London had no accent at all, the people from Denmark spoke English although I'm Danish, this screams VPN aka. SCAM. "Bitcoin Profit" started calling AFTER ForexTB stopped, hence they're prob working in the same company. Nothing about Bitcoin Profit online, except the site that directs you to a broker. Someone called from this number. Couldn't make out the company name. Asked who it was. They couldn't hear me properly and hung up. Probably telemarketers. Just be aware.
A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.

I had no coverage and received message "You missed a call from me...". I call them back. This is a company, which is writing CVs for the money. I registered on CV Library for free opinion of my CV and they wanted me to pay for professional opinion.

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
