I let him talk for a bit before asking for his company's Financial Conduct Authority registration number at which point he got very nervous and said "once you have agreed to go ahead, we have people that can provide you with information." This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases PPI scam or debt collecting - financial help). In any case DON'T CALL THEM BACK, it can cost you a fortune. Did someone answer this number?
