Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Called (twice) to tell me that a survey showed few people in my area with alarm. Explained I have one and not interested. 2nd time asked to be removed from list as on TPS. Have now blocked on BT as well

Claimed that I had recently been involved in a car accident. Told her that she must have the wrong number and then blocked the number.

ps or ts services saying they are not a sales call and are ringing about new government legislation so you can get your dept wrote off. Its a scam, this is the 10th different number to call me saying the same rubbish. Another number added to the block list.
