Also said different dep and just verifying. He asked for sort code & account number, when I questioned this HE HUNG UP! I called 3 not them. SCAMMERS!!

Definitely a scam. They must use a system that generates a local number as I’m getting them calling at me multiple times a day. Already had 2 today and it’s not even 3pm yet. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud.
