I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.

Caller claimed to be able to send me a blocker to protect me from unwanted calls for fee of ?8.99 per month or an payment of ?80 for a year! I used my phone s in-built blocker by pressing the button on the keypad!

Called saying I had had an accident that wasn t my fault.

I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and if they send letters, ignore them but keep a record of them so that when they do get caught (a matter of time) you can contribute evidence if required. I Had tried applying for a payday loan and stupidly put my phone number out there so now im being bombarded with calls from this number it called me 3 times before i answered spoke to an indian man who was very rude and stated "did u just hang up on me" to then him go through my details which he must of picked up from another site, said his senior financial accounts officer would call back. I got a call back from this man and again he was very rude and had an indian accent possibly the same man if im honest

I never answer my phone whilst at work unless I know who is calling I have blocked this number from my phone several times over the last few months but for some reason it keeps getting through!

This is BT s support number - after speaking with someone on live chat, they called me from this number.

Said it was a call from bt about my internet reporting something about unusual activities on my account, i was not convinced and ended call. They rang back twice more, which i declined to answer

It is money expert and they are legit. Nothing to do with the journalist Martin Lewis s site. They will be following up something you have applied for or enquired about at some point online. Unfortunately whatever you register for they always want a number so there s a lesson to us all. Don t give out your number if you don t want to be called!!!! This was a phishing attempt - using robotic voice. They claimed to have been from the inland revenue. I have reported them to the Inland Revenue.

Got a call from a man with strong northern accent he asked for me by name. He said that they believe that I had worked in a noisy environment. When I told him I hadn t he asked what jobs I had done since leaving school. He than asked if I had ever worked in a noisy job, I told him no, he then just cut me off.
