Got a call from 01224 515928 on my mobile (which is registered with the telephone preference service). There was a lot of background noise typical of a call centre. Caller asked for FirstName. Called the number back and a lady with a northern accent answered and insisted she had not called me. She advised that she couldn't have called me as she had been in the Doctors getting her Covid vaccine. This is the 4th time I have received a call from a number beginning 07904 632 XXX to find someone on the other end who has no idea they have called and insist they haven't. Insurance business - ambulance chasers, probably recorded voice "Have you ever had an road traffic accident" or something similar, I ended the call. Seems to be the same call centre as 07722407332, 07722407970 - all the same range 077224079xx. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for bocking call centres). No problems.
