SCAM, York number pretending to be bank security and asking you to press 1 to go to customer service, I got exactly the same message from a Norway number about an hour and a half later, message immertates bt text but comes up as a number. Do not pick up, Norway number was 004721956764
This phone number was on the side of a roofing van which tried to con my elderly in-laws into work that didn't need doing. I have reported them to the police and would suggest you review your 'trust' score.

SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.
Scammer pretending to be from BT. Said hackers were active on my BT account and wanted all kinds of information about my broadband and devices. I'm not with BT so refused and he threatened to disconnect my service if I didn't comply... Absolute scum - beware!

I was in a different room but heard a voice coming from the phone. How can they do that? The voice had gone by the time I got to the phone and I was too far away too hear what it said, but I have now blocked it as no one I know would do that.

SPAM. Nigel Frank recruitment these folk call your mobile usually during work meeting times (9-10) and think it's acceptable to keep your phone ringing for 30sec. Knowing you've probably muted the call with the intention of putting your phone to silent when they eventually abandon the call they'll immediately radial so you cant do this, to annoy you again, which is a bit controlling. Despite telling them you've started a new job, they continue to pester you every month.
SPAM stopped ringing by time I got to my landline. I called the number back 5 minutes later to see who it was and a computer voice said the number was no longer in use.

This is a number local to me but I assume it has been hacked as it was a recorded message purporting to be amazon concerning an order I hadn't made. Scammers doing what they do best.

Can only describe this as an unsolicited call to my mobile from a person of ethnic decent in a call centre.Asked for me by name new about a previous accident last November also about outstanding issue.Claimed to be from ABI about how my Insurance company delt with the accident. Received call from this number today and it was a bad line so I was asking is anybody there at the same time as the guy started with 'Hi there maam, this is.....' he then disconnected the call. I had a missed call from this number and called back to get an automated voice messaging system that said to press 1 to speak to an agent or 9 to add my number to Do Not Dial list. I pressed 9 and the call was terminated.
