Call received at 08.52. Long silence then automated female voice said "This call is from the Talktalk Technical Department to inform you that your internet connection will be cut off.....press 1 to remain connected or 2 to be cut off." Obviously scammers using data from the Talktalk hack some years ago.

Caller with Asian accent said he was calling from BT because my Internet router had been sending error messages for the past days and he would have to help me fix it. I expressed surprise since all my telecoms are with Virgin. He hung up.

I couldn't understand the gentleman very well. He asked me to confirm my name and when I refused he became rather flustered. He asked me again and I said "No, you called me. You should know who I am." I asked what the company was called and was unable to understand the name but got a very round about explanation of them helping me with a PPI claim without actually mentioning those letters. I said no thank you and to remove my data from their database immediately. Even though he agreed, I still bl

Claimed to be from Oxford and wanted to supply an alert for a medical condition. Called on the FAX line and did not ask to speak to anyone by name so this was clearly a scam call.
