They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. When challenged to identify themselves stating they are calling from UB. When I said I had not had the accident he said that they must be mistaken and then when I asked who they were and how they had my personal details he hung up on me. Another pain in the arse call about an accident. I asked them where they'd got the number and was told that it was "publicly available from a list of people who'd had accidents". In that case, I said, why are you asking me if I've had an accident? That obviously wasn't in their script as they hung up. Usually I enjoy winding cold callers up a bit but today it just irritated me.
