I gave them my name, dob and address as they requested it to confirm their details. I became suspicious when they asked for my bank sort code and account no so they could amend the direct debit. I refused to give this and they hung up. I have contacted Three and no one has phoned me, they don't phone customers

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.

I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

Seem to be using at least 4 different numbers but all the same company. When they do speak it's to talk about trying to get social landlord to do repairs on your property, but I suspect that's just their latest scam. Same person has then tried calling back next day from a different number as I blocked the first one, each time I block I get called from a new one. Now when one calls and I answer they hang up.
