Unsure, they asked me to confirm some details which are about 10 years out of date and hung up when I said I didn't want to answer their questions. I couldn't understand the caller, very strong Indian accent and I believe they said they were calling from something Assist (but I couldn't hear very well and the line was bad quality too).

This number rang me and said "I want to talk to you about the free calls you can have. Has someone done them for you yet?" I said "no wait a minute I will put you on to my dad who pays the bills" (I m uni student). He then said to my dad "Hi, I will send the documents to your address. Bye" and put the phone down!! This is so strange and such an annoyance. I rang the number back and opted to take my number off their call list. If I get called from them again I m contacting trading standards as this

SCAM Pop up on my laptop to call Microsoft to unblock my laptop. I called this number 07418 361129 she then said theres a small fee of £3.33 for the new subscription fee on off payment. She confirmed the last digits of my bank card and expiry date I said the last 3 on the back on my card and I received a text from Halifax to say don’t give the code out it is a scam for Adidas £250 I spoke with a Fiona Parker that claimed she worked for Microsoft. I am unable to get back into my laptop now. I’ve frozemybank.

SCAM. I was called by the same "person" on a completely different number a few weeks back and was sufficiently suspicious to look it up. That was a scam too and they seem to have kept the same phone patter but changed to a different phone number today - probably to avoid the numerous scam reports on websites like these of the old phone number.

To STOP .......We were receiving calls on a daily basis from 0161 237 7500 and the message gives you 0161 236 2565 to be removed from call list. When you dial this number - it does not connect. After some digging on the internet (No1 Accident Claims Manchester) I found another number 0844 844 9199 - does not connect but hey oh two emails:- [email?protected] and [email?protected] Sent them a strongly worded email to get my number removed. Lets see whether it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
