Said they were from my local bank but couldn't actually say which bank. Didn't trust them.
Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.
Said they were from SKY concerning maintenance on Sky equipment. Said I already paid each month (I do not) and that for the coming year it would cost me £120. Presumed a scam so I hung up
This number would appear to be à Plymouth number. However it is a recorded English voice about payments I have tried to make to Amazon and an International Money transfer.it is clearly a highly dangerous scam and similar to a call I had the other day from a different number with an American style voice. I received a call from this number from an automated system telling me that my debit card had been used for unrecognised transactions and to press 1 to authorise or 2 to speak to my bank. My suggestion is that you do as I did and ignore it.

Asked me for "Final Payment" on a "contract" (non-existent) for maintaining domestic appliances, saying it was due today, and that a paper receipt would be sent to my hone address, which the caller asked me to verify. When I said the address was correct, I also said he should have sent an invoice earlier, but he then immediately hung up.

Banking Call from Indian sounding lady, says was calling from a business called Block Chain about my investments. I have no investments wit this company so asked her to remove me from her contact list immediately. She asked me to listed to her about the investments but when I repeated to remove me from their contact lists the call was dropped.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). Was bored and made up some data, they they pass you to someone who tries to sell you a policy. They quote the FCA many times - but when pushed confirm they are not regulated by them. Hang up, or have 5 mins of fun winding them up
