This number kept calling my mobile, but I kept missing speaking with whomever was calling. I actually picked up a call today and a man with a sing-song accent (hard to understand) said he was from the Citizen s Advice Bureau, which I thought highly unlikely. He then went on to ask me if I had had any accidents recently - any trips, falls, car accidents etc etc. Scam merchant - I told him to remove my name from his call sheet and never call again.

Annoying calls on mobile, and hang up when answered.

Really weird, rang and asked for my daughter whom banks with co-op. Left her a message asking her to call 08448448899 ASAP as there was a problem with her account. She rang them later and they had no record of anyone calling her nor was there any problem with her account.

This number calls me every morning and when I answer, it just hangs up. I've got a feeling that it's one of those Nigerian scams, where you call them back and it costs...

This is Scottish Power and they don t leave messages. They have been trying to contact me since I told them I was leaving to go to another provider. When you try to call the number back the phone is always engaged. I must get 3 or 4 calls each day but don t answer as I have number recognition and don t want to speak to them. They can call for ever but they are wasting their time.

This was a phishing attempt - using robotic voice. They claimed to have been from the inland revenue. I have reported them to the Inland Revenue.

They have taken £39.99 from my account and still waiting for my loan which I know now wont arrive. My advise to people is to cancel your bank card at your bank stating the reason for cancellation as this loan company may take further funds. You will then receive a new bank card which will stop them from taking further funds. This is FPC or Fredpay.com. They are a collection agency who normally act on behalf of Vodafone. They ask for your name , date of birth, post code etc. to confirm your identity. Simply dont give it to them and they cant continue the conversation !
