CALLED, DIDN T ANSWER, LOOKED ON HERE FIRST, PROMPTLY BLOCKED. EASY. IM AT A STAGE NOW I CANT BE ARSED TO ANSWER/SPEAK TO THESE ANNOYANCES ANYMORE SO LOOK UP MISSED CALLS AT END OF DAY/WEEK - LABEL THEM IN MY PHONE BOOK AND THEN BLOCK THEM. SAVES ME LOOSING MY MARBLES. :-)

For once, an unknown number that is actually legit. It was a call from Thames Water. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number but the voice message was genuine with specific details (including the correct address) about a drainage issue I d discussed with them earlier. Genuine call.

She immediately rang back and told me This was not the way to do things . Harassment. We got the number from her and rang off. When I want a service, I ll do the callng!

They let it ring a few times then when you answer there is no-one there.

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Yesterday I was out all day and when I returned I found no less than five calls from a slightly different but equally fictitious number, 01614379874, but still equally recognisable as fake from anyone who has had so many of these calls as I have. keeps calling don t know why. I never answer unknown numbers and check them online, don;t know who they are or what they want but after reading other comments have blocked them.

Get calls every day from this number on my house phone normally while I m out at work so can t answer but on the times I have been home to answer (normally 8.30am on weekends!) they ask for some random person although I ve told atleast 10 different people they have the wrong number they still phone despite saying they will take the number off the system. Totally lost it yesterday after months of calls and asked to speak with a manager who told me they didn t know what number had been called as its automatic

since I posted my comment on 22 April, I see lots of you have had calls, but I haven t had any more. Maybe they persist with one area for a while then move on. I did have the calls regularly for weeks before I posted here. So maybe it will quieten for the rest of you soon, particularly K.Harris. So sorry you have been pestered like this.

Don t bother picking up it is just a plain scam and definitely do not call them back as it can either cost you a lot of money or take away your remaining credit you have on your phone! hope this comment helped! :)
