Hung up just as I answered the call.

They called up asking if I had recently been involved in a car crash. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. They said the name very quickly at the beginning of the call. They quickly said that they will take my number off of their database and then they hung up. Missed call from this number, texted to ask who this was and no reply.

Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Got a call on 26 May at 12:03, no one on the other side, just hung up. Got a phone call from another unknown number same day from same area (01743562667). Again no one on the other side. Very annoying! I suspect it might be someone trying to scam vulnerable people during coronavirus.
