SCAM This number is a scam. My friend lost 44k to this number when he got a call appearing to be his manager and asked for money .
Call center The bloke said he was from plumb.co.uk calling about my Sky account. Told him to go away as a cold caller. Number now blocked!!!
Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. She didn't identify herself at

This would appear to be a scam as apparently called by banks fraud department But why would the bank be calling from Germany
Nobody spoke with me.
Answered and immediately a pre-recorded message said something like: "Thank you. Now that your number has been verified we will call you back shortly." and hung up. Looks like I just got added to another spam list! Blocked.

SCAM called from this number and said from carphone warehouse .took £50 its scam. dont answer.
This number is attached to a PayPal request for £749.99 from a Brad Faylo ([email protected]) I declined the request, obviously, but it mentions fraudulent activity in my account debiting £749.99 GBP for iFLY gift cards.

SCAM Told me they were from Virgin media and that they had notifications on their system of bad Internet connectivity asked how many devices I had and then wanted me to go on a PC or laptop to authorise them onto said computer so they could show me what was wrong ????? This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.
