I had a call on my phone after activating my SIM which had been dormant for 12 months with Orange/EE They did not leave a message. Strange they got my number 24hrs after reactivating SIM!!!

PPI SPAM (SMS)

Dangerous scam call pretending to be from HMRC. Threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless you give them an immediate payment. Just end the call, don t press any keys and if they leave a voicemail don t call it back. There will be no legal consequences, they re just trying to scare you.

Silent call though I could hear some background noise, didn't sound like an office.

Rang on a number of occasions now despite being ex-d & registered with TPS. Claim to offer consumer discounts on retail goods & services. Complete nonsense. Very persistent in trying to obtain bank a/c details for a £1 payment towards a trial payment. ITS A SCAM - DO NOT DIVULGE ANY DETAILS.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! I keep getting calls from this number, I have no idea who they are or more importantly how they got my number.
