Got a quote online following an advert on Facebook. Due to price decided not to take the offer & thought that’d be the end of it. BIG MISTAKE....4 calls within 5hrs & a total of 11 calls in 5 days. Automated voice claiming to be from inland revenue (not HMRC). Obviously a scam call, now blocked.
Called my aging father and said they were calling about an existing insurance policy for kitchen appliances.. one that we had and it needed renewed. He holds another policy with a well known company and it wasn't them. They were insistent that he had to renew it and he eventually hung up on them.
As is didn t know this number I ignored it. Looking at the comments above I have previously had calls about a motoring accident that I have never had. These people should be prosecuted
