A very believable telephone call regarding my computer and corrupt files and viruses. Realized it was a scam after it was too late and now cannot access my computer unless i pay them.
Steven from Talktalk. Said I had a hacker monitoring my line and he would help me sort it out. I am normally very suspicious about thins like this so I tried to get as much info from him as I could. I asked for his nmber to call him back on he gave me 0800247137. He then asked me to press certain keys on my keyboard which I wouldn't, so he asked me to go to www.talktalk485.webnode.com, which I refused, he then hung up.

Been getting missed calls from them every day for 3 days. Finally decided to pick up today and it was a woman asking for a Miss Bank . I said she had the wrong number and she just hung up. Clearly meant to be a scam, they always use common names like that to hook you in. Blocked caller.
