Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2079460xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Indian call centre dealing with PPI, accident claims, insurance marketing. Reactive Media Marketing phoned to say that I was due a refund. You can tell it is a cold caller PPI scam the way they talk. My response was "Well if I am due a refund then pay it back using the Direct Debit that it was taken by".. that seamed to confuse him a bit but was back on script... "Have you ever had a loan or credit card" Just a quick note if you are ever tempted by this scam.. the average refund is under £1000, and they take 30% of that, £300, for their expertise to reclaim it. £300 is about
