I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. Just received an automated female voice call to say I was defrauding HMRC giving a presumably bogus number of the details of the HMRC investigation and advising me to press 1 to take it further. I didn't bother to press 1.
started talking about a survey. i asked them to remove my number from their list. response was "why should i?". i replied saying i was fed up getting calls that i hadnt requested and that i was busy. She told me that if i was busy i shouldnt have answered my phone!!! i will be taking this further

This number just called me, and despite entries saying this is the Microsoft scam, and other fakey company fakes, this call was from "Go Green Energy Survey", a "genuine government department" wanting to know about my energy usage and supplier. When challenged, they said it was not a survey and they were not selling anything. Then stop wasting my time, stupid call centre man with fake name! Immediately called back, hung up on them.

Got call from guy trying to sell Anglian windows, when i said i wasnt interested and told him i should not receive marketing calls anyway on my line, he kept calling me and then putting the phone down, this happening about 20 times in one evening. Avoid them like the plague.

I ve had that many calls from this number recently it s getting me down. The callers are MKRR a debt collection company but they have no legal right to be ringing and pestering the public. I am wary of answering my phone to any unknown numbers and thank god for caller display! They keep mithering by post as well but I ve been advised to ignore them.
